  • Defalco's is the place to be for authentic and delicious Italian food. I tried this quaint little grocery/deli while on vacation last year and, now that I am a permanent resident, I go as often as possible. I could spend all my time just admiring the imported products on their shelves and behind the counter; wine, olive oil, pastas, sauce, cured meats. But, the real treat is the food they serve. This is the best casual dining Italian restaurant you'll find in the valley. Their pastas and salads are out of this world. The sandwiches are to die for. I'm always down for "Il Purista," a cold sub that includes prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, tomato, roasted peppers, e.v.o.o & balsamic vinegar. The gnocchi with Alfredo sauce can't be beat, especially with a side of marinated artichoke salad. And they have an assortment of beverages to wash it all down, including beer and wine. Just order at the counter and they'll serve you at your table. Take-out is fantastic. Catering..highly recommended. Sitting here, writing a review for Defalco's, is enough to make me want to head on over. You should do the same..you won't regret it.
