  • This review is based solely on my negative customer experience, or lack there of, with AWH. I was never able to contact them to even experience their services. I had been researching hair and makeup services for my wedding for quite a while and had decided I wanted to book with AWH. I had shown my bridal party their website, budgeted for their pricing, and oohed and ahhed over their before and after pictures. As soon a I was ready to book with them I emailed them on a Thursday asking for a total pricing for my party and the date I needed and asked them what time I should book to be ready in time for ceremony. I never received an email back from them. So Saturday I thought I would try again. I called their number and got no answer. Later that day I went on their website & clicked on one of their options which was to receive a call from them. I picked the 6:30pm time to be called and immediately received an automated email saying someone would call me at 6:30pm. I sat and waited and no one called me. I decided to move on. I researched other companies but kept coming back to them. Nothing to me was in comparison. So I thought maybe they were very busy and I would reach out one more time. The following Tuesday I called their number again. Left a voice mail, and received no call back again. The next day, Wednesday morning, I decided to go through their formal process on their website to book an appointment (even though I was waiting on questions to be answered from the first email before I did this). I picked the time and date (which said they were available) and received another automated email right away saying they had received my appointment request for my bridal party hair and makeup and would contact me shortly. It is now Thursday and I have received no word from them besides the two automated emails. 7 whole days and no word from an established, prestigious hair and makeup company; what terrible service! How could you not contact a customer that wants to hire your business especially when time is of the essence to book up an artist for an upcoming wedding. I continuously checked my spam folder in my email and my voice mail thinking I missed a call from them because I couldn't believe this was happening. How could you miss 2 calls, 1 voice mail and 2 emails from me?? If their customer service is this horrible to the point where they blatantly ignore their customers why would I even trust them with the biggest day of my life. I hope who ever was able to actually get a hold of them to book their services was happy because I will never know. They lost hundreds of dollars in revenue from me. I ended up booking with another artist whom called me within 2 hours of my first email to her.
