The wife and I stopped in today and had some brunch at eat. The verdict? Oh. My. God. This place was amazing! We started with some of their fresh baked berry biscuits which were freaking unbelievable. We're talking hot, fresh baked biscuits topped with fresh fruit and jam. Simply amazing.
For our mains, I had the chicken breast sandwich with mozzarella and a side of bacon on a ciabatta bun while my wife had the eggs benedict. Both dishes were awesome. The chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly, and the bacon, mozzarella, and greens complemented each other perfectly. The sandwich is topped with an amazing pesto mayo and the entire things rests on a delicious, toasted ciabatta bun. I had the freshly made potato chips as a side and they were fantastic. There were tons of them too.
My wife's eggs benedict was easily one the best she's had, with perfectly cooked eggs and fabulous hollandaise sauce. The dish came with delicious potatoes, which were perfectly prepared. I also have to comment on the coffee, which was outstanding. Rich and delicious and perfectly brewed. Absolutely fabulous coffee.
Service was friendly and impeccable. We were greeted promptly by the chef/owner who offered us a pick of the available tables (we popped in an hour from closing and the place was nearly packed). Orders for drinks and biscuits and then our food were promptly taken and served, with the food coming out just as we finished off those amazing biscuits.
This was a great find - we had amazing food and an outstanding time. We already can't wait to return!
