| - Super expensive, small portions, noisy, and a waste of time. How it's getting 4.5 on Yelp is totally beyond me - are they paying for those reviews? Then again, there are people who think buffets are amazing, so...
The place feels like they just re-did a cafeteria, definitely not "A dramatic pitched roof, Moroccan tiles and chandeliers, white marble counters, and emerald-green curtains create a warm elegance." It's loud and whatever theme they're going for, they just succeeded in only confusing us. It's not warm, not elegant and with our table packed in among many others, we were the pinball in the machine. Bump-bump-bump.
We liked our server, she was quite nice and helpful and really on the ball when a drink was mixed wrong and when we got the wrong order.
Food-wise, we liked the spicy cigars, and the kebabs were good, but all portions were one not-hungry person size. The spanakopita was so salty as to be inedible, the laffa came in a brown paper sack (so not classy) and the shwarma was little more than a mouthful. After that and two drinks for $150, it was a complete let down. We had a really good dessert at the cafe next door though.
