  • LOVE this place! They have great hard ice cream choices and the atmosphere alone should bring you here. Original terrazzo flooring, woodwork and tin ceilings! They even kept the cabinets with the glass doors where the pharmaceuticals were kept. The soda counter is like amazing and has ample seats. They also have great bistro-style tables and small wooden booths that are perfect for a dessert after a date! They have cool sundae's that use Churro's and the waffle cones smelled heavenly. In addition, there is an old candy counter with vintage candy that made me feel like I was in the scene from Willy Wonka at the beginning when they are in the the pharmacy/soda shop/candy shop. This is a must visit place whether you live in the Pittsburgh area or you are visiting. You will not be disappointed. Feel free to ask the staff questions too. They were very knowledgeable and willing to share stories of the family and the history of the building.
