| - We went to Gaucho at around 6:00pm on a 70 degree Saturday and, you guessed it, the line was out the door. We waited an hour from the time we got in line to the time we placed our order and it was worth every minute.
Our party of 4 shared the pescado, the grilled veggies, an empanada assortment, the smaller meat platter, rice, the short rib special, and the rosemary braised beef sandwich. It was ALL delicious and we ate every bit with the exception of about a half cup of rice. Fun, relaxed atmosphere and the food is served quickly! BYOB makes it even better - we brought a bottle of red to share and then capped the meal off with some cold Rumchata. One of the employees, Micah, was chatting with us, getting refills and brought us rocks glasses with ice for the Rumchata. He was extremely friendly and helpful.
My only wish is that you could sit down and order like a "regular" restaurant. And that they held off a bit on the cowbell, it was extremely loud and happened too often for my parties' taste. It won't stop me from going to Gaucho again though. I look forward to the next rosemary braised beef bite!
