  • Peace of Eden Spa is a very nice place offering many services from massages to pedicures and hair cuts all in one convenient location. If you are the type of person who doesn't want to run around and wants to stay in one place for all you need, this place is for you! I had Amy the last two times I got massages and she is very knowledgeable and gifted in massage therapy! She is also friendly, warm, inviting and makes you feel comfortable! If you are going for a one time massage, I would absolutely recommend her. She will talk to you if you want to engage in conversation during your massage but she will also give you your peace if you want to just unwind and zone out, so you are free to do as you wish without worrying if you're talking too much or too little. She even remembered me from years prior when I got a massage, which always makes a customer like myself feel appreciated! The massage room is small, but very comfortable and dimly lit. It is easy to feel tranquil upon entrance to the room. Amy will put on relaxing music to calm you during your massage and keep you in a tranquil state. Sometimes you can hear voices carrying on outside, which can take away from your tranquil moments, but it isn't too distracting or overwhelming. The interior of the salon is beautiful. It seems to pull through a Victorian theme and attention to detail is not neglected here! It is a very cute place. The only issue I have with this place is the massage gift certificate I received from a loved one. My boyfriend went to Peace of Eden and bought me a $75 gift certificate as a present. He said that Wendy, the manager, told him that $75 would cover a massage and the tip, which mattered to him because he wanted my massage and tip to be completely covered with the certificate. When I went to pay, I asked if I could put the tip on the certificate (My massage was $65 and I was going to give a $10 tip, so my certificate was fully utilized), and I was told no by Wendy. So now I have a $10 gift certificate that I have no clue what to do with. I really don't want to go back because of such business practice, but don't want the $10 to be wasted either. Because of this, I would not recommend getting a gift certificate from this place. I would recommend the spa with Amy to anyone wanting a massage. I hope that, in the future, the staff follows through with what they tell customers by standing true to their word; otherwise, what happened makes this business look loosely run.
