| - Warning! Do NOT hold your child's birthday with Get Air Las Vegas!
I was in email contact with Barett Alves since July 20th in regards to my son's 4th birthday that was this past weekend in October. There was a special for booking early and I wanted to take advantage of it. While his initial emails were fine, it soon took weeks for him to reply to me. I asked for a written invoice multiple times for the party, and received nothing. I asked multiple times for a confirmation before I payed my deposit, nothing. I finally wrote him up an invoice showcasing the discounts and the under 46" discount we discussed in writing. I then received a confirmation email from him, but no invoice. I went to pay my deposit and stood there for ten minutes (while the place was completely empty) for a manager to speak to so I could pay my deposit, and Seth came up. No introduction, no customer service whatsoever. He then inquired why I was not going to pay for the full party, and I explained that I was not confident in the establishment. He was not friendly, helpful or did not do anything to try to ease my worries.
The day before the party, I called Get Air in order to confirm that I had a room for the party. They did have my confirmation and I asked if they would have called me to confirm and the girl said "we don't usually do that". At 8:30 pm that night, someone did call me to confirm my 10:30 am Party the following day.
The day of the party was fine. A room was clean, Anna was kind and helpful, but we never received any of the waters/soda or juice that was supposed to come with the party (I am glad we brought our own). When it was time to pay, the girls ASKED ME how much I owed. I brought my emailed with the owner, Barett Alves and with the discounts, I payed what I should have.
Two days later, I received a phone call from Vivian at Get Air saying "you owe us money" I asked "why" and was told "hang on" and was on hold for 5 mins, which then I hung up. They called back saying I owed more for my party and I said I paid what was in writing, and I will only speak to Barett Alves in regards to this issue.
*Update: Barett Alves did call me right away and apologized about the phone call stating I owe more money as that was not accurate. I then told him all of my concerns listed above, and his response was "they are getting used to the new phone system".
My four year old had a fine time jumping, but I highly recommend going to ANY OTHER trampoline park! If you want to feel confident and deal with an establishment that values customer service- look elsewhere!
