From the moment we walked in to look at a place for my dad we were impressed. Instead of people preparing for last moments, the residents were smiling. Whether in the main lobby, hallways, or dining hall they all seemed relaxed and happy. The marketing staff staff starting with Heather and the director Susan all laid out everything regarding helping my father get settled in. Meeting the head nurse Kayla was awesome as well. She doesn't see residents as a number, but people with real needs. I can reach out to her at any hour of the day(which I don't do) and she will respond. Without her help and the staff, dealing with my dad's transition from another place that was less than acceptable has been made easier. I would definitely recommend them for review. I have read other reviews here and I think though valid in points, our experience has been great up until speaking to the billing lady. My father was recently approved for health coverage benefits through the state and I had a question regarding his invoice. I felt the description was stupid and mentioned that to which the billing person at the Ventana Winds billing office took exception saying it was not stupid. She was not willing to explain other than what I saw or help me understand further, this is the reason I am editing my review so people are aware.
