i can only speak about the selling experience because i've never bought anything here. usually i'll take all of my stuff to my sister's closet, and then i'll take the rejects to plato's. my sister's closet is more geared toward age 20+, and plato's closet markets mostly to teenagers.
i like that they'll buy my old navy and target stuff, and i like that they'll give me cash right away whereas msc sells on consignment. the downsides are the employees are extremely unfriendly, the place is quite smelly, and they won't donate your rejects. they also take a lot longer to sort through your stuff than most places, so i usually have to drop them and come back.
i'll come back when i clean out my closet again but definitely not to shop. the employee didn't even thank me or say goodbye after completing my transaction.
