  • Compared to the other Von's on Maryland Parkway, this place is great! (Okay, not a great comparison, but between the two this one is far superior.) Like the other eastside Von's, this one has a rather poor selection, but I can still find *most* of what I'm shopping for *most* of the time. (This is a shock for me, as I am used to finding supermarkets that stock ALL of what I'm looking for ALL of the time.) The prices are high, although by joining their Von's Club they come down to an acceptable level It is clean and safe, though (like much of the area, and Vegas in general) there are often a few dodgy-looking folks about. (They have never accosted or otherwise disturbed me.)
