  • This was the alternative to Starbucks which has been closed down across the street and it's a fine choice. Nice view of the old speakers corner and bustle along John St. from the rear of the shop. And it has the feel of a neighbourhood coffee shop in spite of the cosmopolitan location, especially when we bumped into friends here who were headed out of town. No problem with the service and no sweat when someone knocked a drink all over the table and floor, the server grabbed the mop and that was that. I would have no hesitation stopping in anytime.
