Cheap and good pretty much sums up Danforth's Burger Stomper. Will it blow your mind? Maybe for sure, maybe not. But it is hard to complain about size or holier-than-thou foodie qualities when much of the burgers are UNDER $10.
Some stuff, like the spicy jalapeno burger ($7.99) are good choices. Others like the Greekburger ($7.99--more like a Greek salad stuffed in a burger if you ask me), are duds. As well, they got milkshakes and just three poutine types on the board. Bacon cheeseburger poutine ($9.99), essentially a poutine combined with bacon cuts and ingredients of a basic cheeseburger (minus the bun), is a greasy wonder comparable to something you'd get at a Smoke's Poutinerie.
It's not a full-service diner, though some alcohol is served, and on slow periods service can get too laid back. Otherwise Burger Stomper is a decent choice for a quick gourmet bite.
