| - Fun concept - a nail and blow-up salon with a full-service bar! Also serving delicious eats from Delysees (Macarons with your pedicure? Yes please!).
The bartenders specialize in making customized cocktails - just let them know what you're in the mood for (sour, sweet, etc.) and your poison of choice (gin, vodka, etc.) and they'll whip up something special just for you.
I had been here just for drinks a couple of times before getting birthday mani-pedis with my husband and a couple of my friends. Love the styling of the space and the beachy-like pedicure area, but found it a bit loud (i.e., not relaxing and hard to hear my friends).
The polish selection is amazing though. I opted for gel/shellac on my fingers and regular polish on my toes. Polish application was not quite as good as my local cheap-and-cheerful joint but still looked good and held up well in the following weeks.
Same complaint as another reviewer about the website: it sucks. I wanted to tell a bunch of friends about the place but couldn't direct them to the website because it's pretty much useless (their facebook page is better). Also with no online booking system it's hard to gauge when they're busy...I went in later to have my shellac removed but they were too busy, so I ended up having it done at my local (probably at a fraction of the cost...). The separate billing for the bar and the salon is a bit strange and can get confusing, even for staff; my friend got double billed for the same drink.
Super friendly staff, nice vibe, definitely a fun place to go for a plan-ahead girls night out, bachelorette party, etc. Hopefully they work the little kinks out.
