People Love to go to the hot new restaurants, and Im not immune to the buzz... however, having been given the suggestion of this old establishment, I thought Id give it a try for my wife's birthday with my 3 young sons. While the decor of the place is very dated it has the feel of going to your grandma's house, and the food to match. I mean the food was exquisite! I had the scolioli (sic) special, the mussels in white sauce for an appetizer and my wife had the vodka pasta (The Rita?) and my boys split the meatballs & marinara. All of which were some of the best Ive ever had. The were extremely accommodating to my boys and served the food in a way that kept the kids occupied. And the bread was hands down the best bread ive ever had at a Italian restaurant which is a serious statement. Also, Pirates ex-manager and World Series winner Jim Leyland was at the table next to us and couldnt have been nicer!
An overall great experience!!
