  • Came here for Sunday Brunch. Expectations were low.The last brunch I had was at Yardbird, and if you read my review on that, you may understand why. Buddy V's offers about 25 food items, and 10 dessert items for a $35 price tag. They also offer a selection of unlimited alcoholic beverages for another $15. They also have a limited al la carte menu that offers pretty much everything that is already on the buffet, but why would you pay $23 for just chicken parm? Here we go... As we walked in, the aroma of GARLIC just punches you in the face! My! How quickly expectations can change. We were warmly greeted buy 2 pretty hostesses, and immediately sat at a table. I couldn't wait to look around. Our server greeted us, and went over the workings of the Sunday Brunch. We also got the unlimited alcoholic beverage option. My lovely wife got sangria, I started with a domestic beer, then went a red wine. Sangria was great, and so was the vino. We stuck with that for most of the meal. As a foodie, I have to say ALL the food offered was FANTASTIC. If you like Italian comfort food, this brunch will satisfy all your needs, and make you eat way too much. I ate so much, I did not eat again till the following day. The italian sausage on the carving station (see pic) was luscious. The fritatta delish, orecchiette pasta amazing, the french toast unlike anything I've had before. Chicken parm was tasty. They put fried polenta croutons in that amazing fresh, cold, caesar salad. Meatballs were nice. My wife loved the ham on the carving station. EVERYTHING was so good, so good, so good. I visited the dessert station and discovered a totally different Tiramisu than what I'm used to. This one was done with love. It was light, wet, and beautiful. The bread pudding and red velvet cake changed my mind about not liking bread pudding and red velvet cake. Hey, the cake boss apparently ain't no joke. These desserts were great. I can't wait to go back to try the Italian wedding cake. I thought I was done after dessert, but went back to get more of that sausage and meatballs. With a little garlic bread of course. Also had a bloody caesar that was very good also. Did I mention how good everything was? Man! this place is my new Sunday after church brunch spot! I've been to buffets on the strip that offer 3 times as much of a selection for about the same price. You know what though? No one could possibly try that much food. Even if you could, not EVERYTHING would be fantastic. The other thing I dislike about buffets is that the food is almost NEVER hot. Buddy V's Sunday brunch offers a smaller selection of fantastic HOT, FRESH food in a buffet style setting. The food is so good, that when you float out of there on a euphoric foodie coma trip the last thing you think about is the price. A total value experience.
