| - I'd like to begin this review by saying that I have experienced lots and lots of different nail salons in my life and while I understand that every place can be different, the service I received today was down right appalling and will not be tolerated at all, including my choice to never ever, step in this place again.
Upon arrival we were greeted, yes "we." I brought my two daughters and my mother. They were there for pedicures and I was there for a manicure. Since I am T2 Diabetic, I pass on pedicures from large places like this on the strong advice from my doctor and podiatrist. The greeting was friendly and my family was seated immediately, yet their pedicures were started about 15 mins later. I, on the other hand, was told to go sit at the "manicure bar" and waited.
At the 45 minute mark and three other women taken before me, the man once agin came by and asked me, "gel manicure, right?" I replied very sternly, "no, regular, please." This was after being asked at least 5 times prior if I was there for a gel manicure. I went on to tell him, as he avoided eye contact with me, that I had been sitting there for the past 45 minutes and three people walked in ahead of me and were being taken care of and that if it was a problem, to forget it.
Someone showed up within 10 mins and gave me the most half assed manicure ever. She was non talkative and unfriendly. She told me my color would only last two days. Screw this, I thought to myself.
I tipped her $5 because it was the right thing to do I felt but I now regret it.
I will never go here again and will not recommend it to any of my friends.
