| - Went to Kailyn's for a late breakfast/early lunch on a day I knew I'd be too busy to eat until late that night. The restaurant is a mom-and-pop place, and has a bit of a retro vibe. It's clean, and was pretty quiet at the time I was there.
I had the Kalbi omelette, which was not as awesome as I had hoped. Now, I like my omelette's runny, but the inside of this one was a little too jiggly, and the outside a bit on the rubbery side. Maybe it was just a batch of odd eggs, or bad omelette day, or I ordered the wrong thing, but I was definitely hoping for more in the food department. I'll definitely try to come back, order something different, and update the review.
Service was extremely quick, and very accommodating- I was doing the no-carb thing and had to sub out a side. She had no problem with that, didn't make me feel weird or kick up a fuss, which I am always grateful for. Service would be a solid 4, but that omelette was just a disappointment.
