Easily the best buffet I've ever been to. A slew of stations offering everything from Alaskan king crab legs, mussels, oysters, pan-seared halibut and salmon to comfort food like shrimp & grits to ethnic fare including made-to-order tacos, sushi, Italian and dim sum.
The interior's absolutely gorgeous too and, honestly, even nicer than some upscale restaurants I've come across. Service was friendly and attentive too as plates were cleared without fail after every trip to the stations. On that note , I made my way through 5 plates of awesome with highlights including:
Lamb chops (awesome char and savoriness)
Beef brisket (beautiful smoke ring and perfect amount of resilience)
Spicy sausage
Prime rib
Green-lipped mussels
Italian meatballs (so juicy!)
Baked rigatoni
Xiao long bao (unexpectedly good!)
Char siu
Chinese roast duck (as good as the best Chinese BBQ joints in SF)
Macarons
Gelato
Yeah...just tons to choose from and great cooking across the board. One thing I wouldn't recommend though is the sushi - the sashimi's not very fresh and the rolls are some of the ugliest I've laid my eyes on.
Next time I'm in town, gotta try the tacos and made-to-order chocolate souffles!
