  • After having made the wonderful discovery of Joyride shortly after moving to the midtown area, my fiancée and I were very curious about the pizza joint next door. We had put it off for a few months, because frankly there are a lot of really good pizza joints in Phoenix. Thankfully she suggested it tonight, because I really love Federal Pizza now. The ambiance was cool, TVs has March Madness on, and the food was really good. Our server was top notch, knew all of the specials, and was quick to make suggestions if we were unsure what to order. Excellent beer menu, if you're into craft beers, and the fiancée really enjoyed her wine cooler, per yelp suggestions. We had the Brussel sprout appetizer to start, which was good, but not mind blowing. The pizza though was top notch. I got a plain ole pepperoni and she got the At Last pizza. So freaking good. Both of them. I liked hers possibly more but I can't because I'm a meat eating beer drinking man. Jk but seriously good. You should try federal pizza. We want to eat outside next, I'm sure it will be great.
