  • Even though we frequent Hawthorne's next door quite a bit, we didn't result start shopping here until a friend brought over some tasty pies from there and my mom was in town and wanted to compare prices for a nice cut of meat. We found that the prices here are very competitive with the groceries and you're getting a higher standard of meat. Since those two events, we have made the Butcher's Market one of our regular grocery stops. All of the employees are very knowledgable about their products and are more than happy to educated you on cuts, prep, storing, etc. So whether you're a novice or an expert, you will feel comfortable here and will leave confident in your ability to turn your purchases into tasty meals. In their cases, they have different cuts of meats as well as marinaded or prepped meats, seafood, and veggies. Going around the store, you will also find pre-made pasta dishes, cuts of less-common meats, etc. There is also a decent selection of spices, marinades, rubs, spreads, snacks, and homemade treats. There are some days when a local vendor may be in store providing free samples.
