After reconsidering my prior review, I have to come down to an absolute maximum of 2 stars for this hotel and its management team.
We had insects in the room and both of us checked out with skin rashes we didn't have on arrival. I contacted management, who informed me that there were no insect problems in the room, offered absolutely no apologies and least of all a rate adjustment.
We had to chase down housekeeping just to have our room remade by 4:00 pm. Vending machines on our floor were non-functional. We were at this hotel through a Cleveland Clinic referral, and by the end of our stay neither of us was in any physical condition to squabble with smart-mouthed desk clerks.
Our TV stopped working one evening and after maintenance had come, shaken his head and left, I found the solution to the problem.
I am mobility-challenged, and found that most staff blocked guest elevators/corridors and common areas with no regard to someone who at that time was struggling to walk at all. Does anyone add the numbers and remember they do have Clinic patients as guests?
When I return to Cleveland Clinic, I definitely won't stay here!
