  • We had to have our main water line replaced from alley to the house, They estimated it would take the full day and possibly part of the next- the invoiced amount was to be $3100 total - Two men did the job in 2.5 hrs and when I was surprised they finished so fast the guy in charge said "it was an easy job". I called the office to pay and the owners wife was shocked also that they were done and said she'd rework the estimate. They took $200. off, that is all. When I expressed concern over the small amount they deducted she spoke to the owner and he took another $150 off. We really expected them to cut the bill in half consider the materials were roughly about $800. And we agreed on the price when we thought it was a full days work. We would not have agreed otherwise. We were very happy with the work and the courteousness of the men that did the work but were not happy with the price in the end. We also had planned to have them do our AC unit replacement but decided to go with another company after this disappointment.
