We were lucky enough to get tickets to the Las Noches de las Luminarias on Saturday night while visiting Phoenix. Such a SUPER fun experience! Not only were there thousands of hand-lit luminaria bags lighting the paths of the Gardens but also really great entertaining ensembles; Simply Three, Mother Road Trio, & Yellowbird/Duncan family to name a few. It was a great feast of the senses, lovely music, seeing the mountains lit with the gorgeous cacti outlined with night lights & various kiosks of hot drinks and food available. My honey really liked the Green Chili!
In addition, we were there during the exhibit of the world's largest ceramic art pieces byJapanese-American sculptor and artist Jun Kameko. The evening lighting dressed up the drama of the pieces, as evident by the Chihuly green glass cacti in the front of the Garden's entrance.
We highly recommend this experience & I look forward to going back during the day to see the Gardens in their full glory!
