  • This is from the words of my wife as she has experienced this. I went to Re:Lax as I frequent the Aliante Casino and decided to give the spa a try as it is advertised a lot. I decided to go in on a Sunday and get the Deluxe pedicure and gel manicure. The place was completely empty and I had a 20 minute wait time because one person was working nails. The description of the deluxe pedicure was a massage, mask, pedicure. The gel manicure was separate. The massage was no better than a generic salon that costs a fraction of the price. The mask was the same and there was no special mask treatment that you see in high end salons. The paint quality was not smooth on the toes, however the paint still remains a week after the treatment as of writing this. The hand manicure on the other hand was a complete mess. The gel was bumped up and placed uneven prior to baking. The end of the gel coat were not placed and after only one day the nails were lifting and within 3 days I lost a complete gel cover on a nail. Absolutely one of the worst gel experiences I have had. The price was very expensive for what I had done. Not only is the base price of the services high, they also will add 20% gratuity to each individual service which is not an option to say yes or no to and provide a separate tip. My overall cost of the services done with gratuity was $114.00 dollars !! I could have had a better experience in a better environment for half that.
