| - Feeling a bit conflicted about this place.
Love the idea, the decor, and location. Love the open feel, plenty of seating. Big tables, small tables. We were able to get 12 or so people in our group together at the big table on Saturday night. However the wait for our food was a bit long. They brought everyone's food out separately, with a 10 minute wait until the next person got their food. They literally only make two things, pretzels and pierogies, with toppings and dips. That can't possibly be that hard and take that long. It should all be batches and assembly line or they're doing it really wrong.
Love the pretzels though. They're really delicious soft pretzels. Deep fried pretzel bites are a bit much on the oil but certainly the taste buds are agreeable to them. A lot of the dips are kinda meh. The pimiento cheese is delicious so be sure to try that one.
The pierogies are a bit bland, even with a few toppings on. The "roasted mushrooms" were terrible, just like 6 slices of basically raw mushroom. I asked to have that taken off my bill and the waiter was very apologetic and graciously agreed.
The drinks.. the sodas are good. The drink menu is impressive, but my actual drinks were very light on alcohol.
I'll definitely be back, and would recommend to friends, but be aware that some things on the menu are better than others.
