I actually found this dog training through Yelp. We decided to give it a try and it has been amazing ever since. I got a 6 month old pit/shepherd mix pup named Lila and she came with a lot of different issues. She has now gone through the beginning class and is currently in the intermediate class. The workshops that Leah does are the greatest. I have never encountered anything else like them in any previous training that I had done prior to coming to Dog House Training. They have helped Lila with the socialization she never had before we adopted her. The impact they have had has been substantial. For $10 we can have her meet other dogs or people or kids in a safe environment and not feel judged because she isn't the perfect dog. I drive quite a ways to take these classes and go multiple times a week. There is nobody else I will ever go to. Leah has something special and just gets dogs. She helps you to understand how to speak to them in their language. She uses voice commands and body language to help them learn what is expected of them and shows you how to do the same. She actually cares about your dog and is never threatening or abusive in any way. If you want your pup to have a wonderful training experience with a positive atmosphere and outcome there is no better place to go.
