  • So, in NO means am I the expert in how theaters are supposed to be managed or ran. I will break this down in some sections to make the reading easier. I also am reviewing this as one of AMC's "Premiere" members, this is a paid membership. Seating: They require assigned seating, which I love. I always hated having to show up early to get a good seat. With the new assigned seating, I can buy my tickets and choose the seats I want. The seats themselves are quite comfy, and recline. My only concern is that they don't wipe down the seats, or clean them that well. I went to a movie recently and there was a giant sweat spot on the seat, with popcorn and god knows what else in the seat. Concessions: As with every single theater, the concession stand is expensive. For a regular/medium combo, you're looking around 12-15 dollars. For the premiere members, we do get coupons, and other perks that really do help with cheaper movie tickets, and cheaper food items. They have hot food selections that are decent. They are constantly improving this which is nice. They also have a full bar just in case you need a drink before a kid's movie lol. Service: Ok sadly, this is why my review took an extreme nose dive. I never pretend to be above anyone else, even if I use a paid membership for the theater. BUT, if you have designated line for those special members, you need to follow through using this. Also, on a Sunday night, there should be way more than just 1 person working the concession stand. Who mind you, was texting during her shift, and then didn't wash her hands. You would hope the theater would be clean, and again this continuously falls short. The bathrooms can be rough looking, and the inside theater is horrendous most of the time. Make sure to bring handi-wipes or something to clean you seat off with. Overall: Sadly, I paid for this membership in hopes the theater would be an amazing perk. I doubt I will re-up my membership after its year long run. At times, it just seems like they don't care about their members here at this location.
