So yep...it happened....my key broke. And of course it couldn't just be super-glued or taped together...nope it had a chip in it so I needed to have the whole thing reprogrammed and a new key made.
So I made an appointment and was pleasantly surprised with the service. I arrived at my scheduled time and pulled into the service department. The guys took my keys, and asked me a few questions, and said that it would be fixed in no time.
I waited in the lobby which was stocked with coffee, ice cream, and other goodies. For entertainment there was a tv and some magazines and of course you could walk around and see the new models and cars out on the lot....hey window shopping is free!
The whole process took about an hour, they checked some other things on the car to make sure it was ok and they gave it a much needed wash...because the pollen had taken it over. Gotta love spring time!
Anyway, painless process. And they even signed me up for rewards program where 5% of my total gets loaded onto the card so if I need additional services done, I can use the savings on my next visit...and it's preloaded with $10!!! Sweet!
