| - Not sure if this should be a bad review for the airport, or the United Airlines check in desk. I arrived to the airport to fly back to Houston and realized United had cancelled my flight (and there were no other flights going to Houston). I tried asking the check in associates for other flights. They simply said I can't get to Houston on United, not even going through another City....they had checked and all flights were either cancelled or full. I figured they were just putting me off...and sure enough they were. I called United customer service 5 mins later and they were able to book me to Houston same day on American Airlines. Shame on United check in employees.
As far as the airport, they are currently doing a lot of construction to both the interior and exterior, so navigating around that can be a chore. During rainy days, there is no cover between the airport and the rental car/parking garage area, so you will get wet.
As far as dining and other service options, check out one of the many terminal directories located throughout the airport. I found the one across from the main food court near Terminal C. Terminal C happens to have the most food options, followed by E due to its sheer size. If you're going through A, you have the least and worst options. It's the only terminal without a Starbucks too. A large concentration of fast food, sit down and places with bars are located in the atrium though. That is where you will find Beaudevlin, the very popular First in Flight Bar, and many fast food options.
