| - The Great Greek is everything you would expect from a Greek restaurant: gyros, salads, baklava, you know the drill. The interior is sleek and modern, and the staff were friendly.
The Great Greek has a perfect location if you live in that part of town, since you literally turn right off of Blue Diamond to access the restaurant, perfect if you're craving greek on the way home from work. Give them a call, order up, and your food will be ready by the time you arrive.
The food is good, but nothing that will particularly blow you away. The tzatziki was noticeably creamier than other tzatziki sauces I've had in the past. It was an interesting change of textures, but was slightly ruined by the fact that they LAYERED that s*** on my gyro. Unless you're into that, be mindful when ordered and maybe ask for it on the side to control your own destiny.
Overall, it's nice to have another Greek restaurant, but Stephanos is still the undisputed Greek God when it comes to Greek food. The Great Greek is...good, but I'll have to visit a couple more times and have something magnificent before I would consider it 'Great'.
