| - Avoid. If there's any problems with their work, you'll hear excuse after excuse, and, eventually, be blamed for their shoddy work. Also, as told by their representative, they absolutely do not cover, warranty, guarantee, etc., any of their work. Do not enter into any work agreement with this company.
We had a large, stamped concrete patio installed. Less than a year later, we requested one of their representatives come out because it had ALREADY started pitting and peeling in spots. We were told by that representative that unfortunately, it may happen during the first year, and also mentioned a majority of the pours they did in the past year had the same problem because of the harsh winter that year. Specifically, when asked, the representative noted that it was ONLY a problem that occurred in the first year, and the pitting and peeling would stop. We followed his EXACT recommendation and then sealed it with the EXACT product he told us to use.
A year later, the pitting, peeling, etc., continued. We had a representative out again, and everything he said directly conflicted with what we were told the previous year (the pitting wouldn't continue, what product to use, etc.). Same company, two completely different (and conflicting) sets of answers when addressing our concerns. All talk, no action.
We had two other companies out before calling Precision back to talk with them regarding the problems (for the second time), both companies telling us it wasn't normal to see problems like this. Bringing this up to Precision, they were appalled that we had asked a different company for an opinion on their work and immediately got defensive that I had asked for a second opinion.
Their last piece of advice (after a rather combative phone call and unpleasant visit by their representative) was to call the Parma city inspector, and told us the inspector would reinforce everything Precision told us. We then have the city inspector out, who (and not surprisingly) negates most of what Precision has told us. The inspector wasn't too fond of their work and did offer advice moving forward (the city making Precision replace a certain part of the patio, or filing claims with the BBB, etc.) after a thorough inspection.
So, now we're stuck with one of two scenarios: filing a BBB claim or lawsuit, potentially forcing Precision to actually repair their errors (which will never match the rest of the patio) or be stuck with a patio that is constantly pitting and peeling year after year.
It would have been wiser of us just to go with another company in the first place.
