| - Overall a great store that has often replaced my normal drive to trader Joe's or whole foods. Here is why:
Meat/fish selection bigger than trader joes, and the also have a deli and butcher. Smaller than whole foods but much more affordable while still getting overall good quality options.
Produce: larger than trader Joe's again, more options for organic items, and one of the nicest men in the world is working there. He always checks in to see if he can be of help, and makes me feel very welcome. I would say they are equal if not better also to whole foods and usually cheaper.
Beverages: bigger selection than trader Joe's, possibly even more than whole foods in certain categories. I find random cool stuff hear like maple water and mulberry green tea.
Dairy/cheese: I feel whole foods own it in this category of options, while trader Joe's kicks butt in price and often has what I need. One time I was in need of creme freche and they didn't even know what it was let alone have it.
Supplements/protein drinks etc: huge selection, bigger than trader Joe's, about the same as whole foods just less spacious lol they have some of my favorite protein drinks here to.
Eco friendly products: this category I usually prefer trader Joe's. They have the smalllest options, but I like them, and the are so much cheaper. Whole foods has the largest options and does have great kitchen gloves biodegradable utensils etc.
Frozen section: trader Joe's is my favorite and carries items no one has, sprouts does have great gluten free and ice cream options though.
Bulk: whole foods wins this round
Check out: whole foods and trader Joe's. Coolest cashiers, while sprouts is understaffed at the cashier area so the cashiers look stressed.
