Location off of Sunset and according to the website same business different location.
I am so sad about this place. My husband and I did our do diligence before we took my favorite shampoo machine in for repairs, so when I finally received a phone call with the estimate I was really disappointed at the dishonesty. I mean I totally expected some (just like a car dealership I figured) and I was aware there would be some up selling going on but it was just to much for me.
First, when we took the machine in I was already using it once or twice a month (new puppy sick kids you get the picture) so I knew with full confidence the only part on the machine that was broken was the attachment for the upholstery cleaner. And I explained to the guy when I dropped it off that the only part I wanted fixed was that attachment, I even showed him.
Also to back up a bit my husband and I myself had just taken the machine apart and cleaned it inside and out a week or so ago as we do every three months, so I also know that there were no broken part's any where else. (By the way I've had it for 3 years now)
When my attachment stopped working I died because I use this a lot so the very first thing I did was jump online to hoover and educate myself on the "ins and outs" of the machine.
I read blogs, asked questions and spoke to a tech online for help.
I came to the conclusion that I really didn't want to deal with trying to replace the hose attachment piece that's on the machine it self so I would just take it to a service center.
When the tech called me back he told me
1. They don't sell just the piece at the end of the hose, you have to buy the entire hose piece for 50 bucks - not true I was going to order it online for 4 dollars right off hoovers website
2. There was a piece on the bottom of the machine that had to do with the brush that was broken and it wasn't spinning on the carpet right (I believe he said 80 bucks) - ummmm ok what piece because its a monster machine and I love it so I have replaced those brushes and just cleaned them last week and it was working just awesome as usual??
Now, he explained one other thing wrong with the machine and I'll admit at this point I wasn't listening anymore so I'm not sure what he said I was just thinking of getting there as quickly as possible to get my machine because now I'm being told there are other broken parts on there that were not there when I dropped it off.
So after all this I'm going to pick up my machine in the morning and will update you on the condition of my machine upon pick up.
I would totally recommend taking your machines to another repair place because these people are flat out liars.
I would advise reading Google reviews as well I know I should of read the reviews on Google first that's for sure.
