This establishment is set up appealing to the eye. It's open and feels not like your average salon. Just like most slightly pricier/not your average joe salons, they offer you a beverage before and during your experience. My stylist was polite, and I thought their big book of hair matching was an awesome idea.
The good out of the way, I came in for a simple root touch up. I dye my hair all over, so nothing too fancy. I explained what my end goal was (very light blonde bordering platinum) and the stylist seemed to understand. She matched my roots and explained a bit what she thought about highlights for the next visit. Once my color came off, it was maybe a shade or two lighter than my roots and definitely did not blend as well as she explained. She tried to cover her tracks by saying that its summer so my hair will lighten, and next time highlights will help with certain areas. Well, this is not next time, and I think my hair should blend much more than it did. This is my third root touch up since dyeing it all over (which I did a full dye twice).
At the end, she made is seem like a blow dry was part of the experience - it's not if you're wondering. It's an extra $10 - which is not that outrageous, unless you weren't expecting to pay for the service.
I will not be returning.
