| - Awful Management!! Was lied to from the start and locked into lease. They never even told me I was responcible for water, sewer, and garbage and gave me late notices even though I wasn't told to pay these utilities!! They lied to me about my deposit, and said with the high amount I put down, I wouldn't be paying rent until mid November, yet the deposits they told me where to secure the unit upon move in, were deposits I wouldn't recieve until I moved out! They also would not approve my SERVICE DOG, when I had an ID Tag, AND Certificate proving her status as a valid/active service dog!!! Now in order to have my service dog on the property, I have to pay over $300 additional to deposits, for the animal, AND I must pay monthly rent for her costing over $50 EACH MONTH!!! This is beyond illegal and now I'm having to pay an attorney to battle it!!!
Management has done NOTHING they promised and has HARRASSED me the whole time I have lived here!! The sent me a legal notice to vacated and tacked on over $200 because I was 4 DAYS late on rent, and that was only because I was told I didn't owe rent until mid November!! This has effected my credit mind you!!
Donna who is new management has not done ONE thing to provide good customer service nor has she offered to correct any of my issues since I've been here. Only 2 months now!!
I was also chased out of the pool area by maintanence because I had my service dog with me. I was told from day one, my dog was allowed by the pool as long as she was on a leash....but after I was harrassed and chased out of the pool infront of the entire apt complex and front end leasing office, the maintanance guy came back and shouted accross the pool toward my apt., that he spoke to the pool inspector and that it was perfectly acceptable to have my dog by the pool...AFTER ALL THE PUBLIC EMBARASSEMENT AND HARRASSMENT!!
In ADDITION, I now am told I am responcible for a gas utility each month, ON TOP OF PAYING Electric, water, sewer, and garbage!!! I was told upon move-in that everything but electric was included in rent!!!! Now my $900 monthly rent for a one-bedroom, is costing me $1200 with the additional $55 for service dog rent!!!
I was also NOT asked to supply documentation of my pay-stubs upon move-in, to varify income, because they said it was included in my background/credit check....NOW, AFTER LIVING HERE FOR 2+ months, if I do not supply pay stubs, I will be asked to vacate the premises, AND BE RESPONCIBLE FOR # MOTNHS RENT FOR BREAKING THE LEASE!!!!
Can anyone say law suit here?!?!? This has been the most horrible, experience I have EVER HAD!!! I have good credit, I pay on time, and am the cleanest, most respectful tenet ever, with several references to prove myself and this is the treatment I have gotten here!!! Unbelievable!!! And now, I'm STUCK LIVING HERE FOR ONE YEAR LEASE!!!! I hate this place!!!!
