| - This bakery is in the J-Town Shopping Complex. It is next to Heisei Market, but there is no physical separation between the two places, and I actually thought the baked goods were part of Heisei, but they are not.
They had some unusual (at least to me) items like yakisoba subs (noodles in bread?!? Talk about carb overload, lol). They also had a "potato salad bun" which looked like potato cubes baked inside a brioche (again, holy carbs Batman!).
They had normal bakery items too like danishes, cream puffs, etc. I got a "cream bun" ($2) and my mom got a "Boston cream donut" ($2). She loved the fact that the Boston cream donut didn't have any chocolate on it, nor covered in icing sugar (as she likes neither, and Boston cream donuts almost always have a chocolate glaze, and their chocolate-less versions, usually called Venetian cream donuts are usually covered in icing sugar, like jelly donuts, but I'm digressing). My cream bun was essentially the same thing, but baked instead of fried, and shaped more like a cone instead of round. It was tasty. The bun was brioche-like and soft. The cream was rich and...well, creamy, haha.
The bun was good, but I'm giving this place 4 stars more for their unusual items that I haven't seen anywhere else.
