The setup of the cafe is nice, there's large tables for big groups to comfortably sit at, complete with a deck of playing cards to entertain you until your food is ready. There's lots of chalk writing on the walls with a bunch of UNLV references and other scrabble, which gives it a local and laid-back feel. It was kinda cool but the colors get obnoxious if you stare at them for too long.
I was pretty impressed with the waffles here. I ordered a sugary cinnamon one, and my boyfriend had one of their waffle sandwiches. I think the only thing slightly disappointing was the coffee. I got a pumpkin spice drink, and the espresso/coffee they made it with tasted burnt and old.
I'd probably return here, but not for the coffee.
