| - We are now frequent customers of the Crave Bar. For the most part, it is wonderful. I don't, however, agree with their prices. A hookah should not cost $20 nor should an additional coal cost anything. Crave has a darker ambiance with the dim lighting and interesting paintings that keep falling down (paintings above the lifted seated area are not secure, we just watched someone and their hookah get smacked a couple of nights ago). The bar is a great place to sit, the bartender is extremely friendly and provides quick service.
We have tried coming on unlimited Wine Thursdays but it was meh. I don't think the $20 per person was worth it. Besides happy hours, Sundays are a great day to go if you want to take advantage of the half priced hookah.
I do like the happy hour prices and selection. Everything is $5 and its a regular sized portion. Our savory favorites include the spinach artichoke dip and the pesto chicken flatbread. The carolina BBQ sliders are good as well. We were not big fans of the brie flatbread, it needs an apricot chutney instead of jam, it is too sweet. On the sweet side of things, we just tried the pineapple upside-down cake which was delicious, not too sweet. We also like the chocolate and carrot cake cupcakes. I have yet to try other desserts. It would also be very wise to purchase a groupon before going to Crave, it will cover $20 worth of food but no drinks.
We will continue to come here for happy hour and Sundays with the aid of groupon. Cheers!
