Cannot fault the care and the PA. My problem is their diversion from their original policy of giving priority when you sign up online. As I was told by a very argumentative and sarcastic receptionist that that was never the case. Well lady yes it used to be that way and if it is not then why bother taking the time to set an appointment time online and arrive 15 minutes before the time as directed if patients are taken in the order in which they arrived. The time it took me at home to sign up probably cost me time from two walk ins. And when I very calmly said that in essence this was no different to an ER HER sarcasm really kicked in with the comment, "I guess not". So why pretend that time means anything. 90 minutes past my scheduled time I was taken back after every other walk in was seen first. Since there is no triage perhaps I should have walked in with a bloody handkerchief and wrapped in a blanket. That seemed to give priority to people who frankly were no worse off than anybody else in the waiting room. In future I will go where an appointment means something and walk ins are not given priority. Don't bother there are other places where your time actually is considered just as valuable as theirs.
