| - Been having a nagging pain in my back, neck and shoulder that intensified during the long drive from LA to vegas. We stop to pick up some beverages before heading into town and decided to look up a place. After checking reviews and calling a couple of places, we decided to go with location. Typical, familiar Asian reflexology set up, so I was skeptical and had no expectations. We, party of 3, opted for the 60 min body massage. Didn't care for the foot massage, which was $10 cheaper.
Instructed to strip down to undies only and left with a small towel to cover, I complied, leaving my tank and undies on. My masseuse was a male and at first I was uncomfortable, considering the amount of covering I had, but he ended up placing a sheet over my body and ask if he could pull down my tank. Started off by relaxing the muscle all over, then oil massage, followed by some muscle melting stone massage, followed by facial, hot towel wipe down and front side massage (hot stone as well), some stretching... like those Thai massages, there probably more that I missed. Overall, the massage was amazing and my neck and shoulder were less tense by the time he was finish, especially after the hot stone massage. His massage was strong to start off with so I did not need any adjustment. I did not feel rushed or felt that time passed by that quickly. He started around 4pm and ended after 5pm, so the extra minutes were greatly appreciated.
The environment was pleasant and noise were minimal. Some soft music in the background. Individual and combined massage cubical. The masseuse was friendly, not disruptive and only left the room twice- to go get hot towel and the hot stones.
We all left highly impressed as we did not expect anything out of it. We knew we were taking a chance, but boy were we impressed.
I read a lot of complaints with the tipping policy and initially, I'll admit I thought the same, BUT after reading other review, it totally changed my perspective and now understand why I should not be complaining about how much I should be tipping :)
