I'll tell you why I rate this 5 stars. It's the skating classes they offer!
Personally, I never leisure skate here because it's like a fishbowl but with ice! It's such a small rink where everyone is going round and round in a small circle... BUT if you're taking the skate classes, they close the rink for the class only.
I used to only know how to skate forwards but after their course, I learned how to skate backwards, do forward and backward stops, crossovers, slaloms, and many more useful abilities that make skating interesting.
Classes are typically divided in 3 levels: beginners, intermediate, advanced. In the first class, students are assigned their groups based on their proficiency. Each group has 3 or more instructors to allow students to all get the attention they need.
You register for their courses online but the spots fill out quite fast so you have to be quick the day registration opens. You'll need to create your account 2 days in advance in order to register for classes.
