  • Well, as of 4pm today, Lasik is DONE! It was definitely a weird experience, I don't much like anyone messing with my eyes, & this felt bizarre, but really worth it! When it was done, & it seriously took maybe 10 mins, I could see, but it was blurry. Had, & still have, to wear sunglasses for the rest of the night. But my vision keeps getting clearer & clearer. I LOVE where I went, the staff is wonderful, as are the doctors. They talk you thru every step, telling you what you'll feel, how long you'll feel it for. I couldn't have asked to be treated better than I was. I can't wait to get up tomorrow & reach for my glasses, only to realize I DON'T NEED THEM!!!! For the 1st time in more years than I care to admit, ok, it's about 41 yrs, I don't need glasses or contacts to see! Follow up visit tomorrow to see how everything looks, I'm sure it'll look great!
