This place is awkwardly hip and super trendy in a casual part of town. The complex they are in is very new, but with Texas Roadhouse and TGIFs down the road, their location would be more appropriate for Scottsdale and Downtown Tempe or Phoenix.
The prices are what threw my husband, myself, and our two friends array. The rolls don't seem that expensive- but they come in smaller portions, and my husband said the quality was not as high as their prices. Our friends strongly agreed. The price for the Sake Bombs were outrageous, so I didn't get one (I want to say close to $15).
I do not like sushi- I always get non-seafood. Which, their fried rice was delicious, and I enjoyed the potstickers.
I guess I do like the trendy feel, but can't afford it! I loved the cucumber in my water- very refreshing. Our bartender Suzanne was lovely and made us delicious (but pricey!) drinks after our meal.
Overall: good service, but high prices for the quality of sushi. Would return only if I had a discount or if friends wanted to go.
