  • Let me start off by saying that I have been with Verizon for 6 years and have never had any troubles with them. I came in with the intent of renewing my contract as well as purchasing the iPhone 7. Everything seemed great when I walked in, the customer service was welcoming and nice. I was told in order to purchase the iPhone 7, I had to purchase the package deal altogether. This came out to $250, I was told that this was all I had to pay to renew the contract and then I'd start making monthly payments on my phone. In this package deal, there was a wifi box that I was told by Luis was free. Luis also was so kind to set up my phone and my wifi box. He even showed me my statement on his computer of what I should expect for my next bill. I thought everything looked good so I decided to purchase it. It wasn't until I received my bill, that the truth unfolded. I found out that I was charged $19 twice- for setting up my phone and the wifi box. I called corporate Verizon and I say corporate because this place is NOT. Corporate Verizon informed me that they do not charge for any set up fees. This is true, because I have NEVER been charged any set up fees in the 6 years I have been with Verizon. I also was informed that Luis had set up my wifi box with warranty and insurance and that it was an additional $19 to my bill that he did not even mention to me about because he kept insisting it was free. Thankfully the rep from corporate Verizon fixed it for me but nonetheless the wifi box is pointless and I will have to pay $175 if I want to get rid of it. I have never even used it once, and only took it because I was under the impression this was free. Even after I had already said no warranty, no insurance, as I take care of my things, that he had the audacity to charge me it and not even tell me. I have truly learned my lesson to never step foot into this store as well as any other store that's not a corporate Verizon. I cannot believe Verizon allows these people to even open a store when they do not truly care about customer service but rather their own pockets and false words in order to take advantage of other people. Listen to the reviews, do yourself a favor, and save your money by never coming to this store.
