  • I heard about Dick's from a business associate and his hole-in-the-wall meets great cuisine really appealed to me. True to his word, it was kind of hard to find since it's so small and there's no sign out front. It's a tiny little place and we sat in the small, side-room without the bar. The menu is split between creative American entrees and solidly Mexican dishes. The posole soup I started with was really good, with a nice spice to it, but the raw cabbage sliced on top was a little too big to eat easily in a soup. For my main, I went with the enchiladas which were very good, but not extraordinary. I tried a friend's pork dish, the pork adovado, which was outstanding - i wish I had ordered that. Had a nice glass of pinot noir that was too cold when it arrived at the table, but after it warmed up and got some air was really flavorful. All in all, I liked Dick's but should've ordered better.
