Since I eat dim sum at untraditional times (for dinner 90%+ of the time), the place is usually not busy and doesn't offer dim sum rolling by on carts.
To me this is a good thing because I get my core dim sum dishes (don't like to stray away from the usual staple dim sums) and they get served to me fresh out of the kitchen. I'm not picky about the taste of core dim sum dishes, I look more at places that serve all day dim sum, and this is one.
My wife and I have always enjoyed eating dim sum here. This place is huge (seats 400-500) people but when we go its usually pretty empty. The decor is very stereotypical Chinese with lots of red.
Other than the dim sum which we come here for, there are a couple of other dishes that are really good. The beef with rice noodles in black bean sauce, and the Mu Shu (or is it Moo Shoo...depends on the restaurant and how they translate it). For those that don't know, Mu Shu is a dish of chopped up meat and vegetables in a sauce with what they call pancakes. Think of it almost as Chinese fajitas.
