I've been going to various Good Egg locations throughout the valley for years now. You can almost always depend on this place for consistent service and quality but lately its all gone downhill. Today was the final nail in the coffin for me and my family. We visited the Park Central location and there were about ten people in the restaurant besides us.
Our waiter - Alto greeted us quickly and got our drink order. After taking our food order he vanished for over thirty minutes. We watched people walk in after us, get their food before us and leave. Finally after nearly forty five minutes we ask the waiter what's going on - he tells us it will be out soon. I said seriously dude it's been forty five minutes - he turns and gives me a look and shrug of his shoulders.
We see the manager walking by (older Caucasian lady) and tried to flag her down. She stares straight at us before walking back to the kitchen. After another five minutes and no explanation as to why our order of two basic skillets wasn't out yet, we left. I have never in my entire life walked out of a restaurant until today - truly horrible service. I would never go back to this location and I strongly suggest ownership take a look at what's going on here.
Several of the servers were singing so loudly that it disrupted other customers conversations. The managers seemed to go into the kitchen to make noise and laugh with the rest of the staff but did nothing to serve the customers. The entire environment was unprofessional and not a place where I would ever spend my money. I've been to this location several times but I will never go back here or to another Good Egg again.
To management - stop changing your menu and start focusing on why your restaurants seem to have fewer people every time. We can spend our money somewhere else where the service warrants it. Unprofessional servers talking about their personal lives and singing so loudly that other patrons turn to look at them isn't the kind of environment where I'd like to eat breakfast.
For the record - the manager never asked us what the problem was or why we were leaving.
