I lived at San Croix Apartments from July 2014-March 2015. I was new to LV at that time and didn't know better. The apartments are close to most attractions and restaurants which is a plus; however, they're not updated and the surrounding neighborhoods aren't the safest. For the most part this apartments are quiet. Dieing my lease there was an incident where the central file alarm was pulled by some prankster at 8pm and it took San Croix Apartments 3 hours to fix (while the alarm was fully blasting in two buildings). Such a nuisance to all the residents.
The staff is not the friendliest, but they'll help you on your requests and will do necessary repairs promptly.
Now the good part: BEWARE! If you had a (refundable) security deposit due to you after moving out...there might be a huge delay on their part on getting it to you. Under Nevada's State Law, landlords have 30 days to send you the refund for deposit or notify you in writing the reason for keeping it or not refunding fully. Well, it's been almost two months and NO RESPONSE, no letter notifying or deposit being widheld, or no check. I provided my new mailing address to them at the time of turning in apartment keys. All in writing. I'm fairly patient, so i waited and gave them the benefit of doubt...but being almost two months since I moved, it was time to speak up. Last night I emailed the apartment manager in regards to my refund, and was promptly contacted this morning to pickup my refund from corporate office or have it mailed. Manager apologized for such a long delay.
From my understanding Ovation Property Management is the company in charge of refunds for their apartments, but not sure who was responsible for delay.
