  • I have mixed views of this fitness establishment. The facilities are top notch and worthy of five stars. It's smaller than most gyms, but that's the charm which attracted me to this location. Plenty of clean towels available, nice locker room and well spaced equipment. Now to get into the two stars explanation, which I felt generous with. I procured a 90 day membership through a sponsored third party source. Upon my introduction to this location. I seemed to have walked into a car dealership with pushy sales staff. Upon declining several times of extending my membership. Just to note I hadn't even started with the 90 day voucher deal. It took some time to get past that I'm not interested in extending a membership that I haven't even experienced yet. Now the complimentary Personal Training session seems to be about 10-15 minutes at most of actual training. It was disclosed it would include a sit down consultation of measurements and fitness aspirations hopes and dreams...I'm fine with that. However that information should have been acquired during the signing up process, just saying. The rest however was a sales pitch for additional personal sessions that would mirror a Time Share Opportunity for someplace that we'll say is Boca...and just as pressuring as a Time Share pitch. To top it off I had been informed personal training is pretty much nonexistent after 9pm Mon - Thur, even though they're open to 11pm. Understandable, but not great for those that get off at six or maybe need to walk or feed pets or maybe just want to relax before sweating your @$? Off. Hopefully the following advice will help you brave the sales gauntlet....so you can start working out.!! 1.) Be nice...like anyplace this is a Company that needs to make money to be profitable to keep the lights on. Don't hold it against them. 2.) It's your money, it's hard earned. I know mine is. 3.) A gym membership is a "want" not a "need." That was for you college kids...hmm. 4.) If a deal for services are offered. Remember just as if something in a retail store is "On Sale" that doesn't mean you have to get it now. 5.) I'm not saying you shouldn't go for the additional services or membership. It's your decision, but you will be paying for it though. 6.) If you need to take time...take it, this is a financial decision. 7.) Most importantly declining is an acceptable answer and not a reflection to your commitment to attending. Well I hope this helps...and CROSS-FIT.!!!!! Oh wait that's not it.
